Angela Wilson
Angela Wilson is a lifetime resident of High Point, NC. She currently serves in the Early Childhood field as a Mentor/Evaluator with the Early Educator Support Program, at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (West Hub), and an Education Specialist with PBSNC. For more than three decades, she has served young children, families, educators, and early care providers through a variety of positions that include: Owner/Director of the Ark of Safety Preschool (High Point’s first Five Star child care facility), NC PreK Lead Teacher, Coaching Peer, professional development trainer, and life coach. She earned a BA degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and later attended the Birth-Kindergarten Interdisciplinary Studies in Education and Development Master Degree Program there also. Angela endeavors to support NC PreK teachers who are seeking to enhance their teaching effectiveness and ultimately boost learning and developmental outcomes for young children, through the promotion of “P&PD” personal and professional development.
