Allison Gibson

She is currently an NC Pre-k Lead Teacher for the private sector in Gaston County Schools.  She earned her BA in Child and Family Development from UNCC in 2007. Later obtaining her SPII BK License through the EESLPD where Dr. Rowland was her first evaluator.  Allison has dedicated her entire career to working with pre-k children since it was the More at Four Program, and working on year 22. She currently serves on the Leadership Team for GCS Pre-k for the Pyramid Model and as the spokesperson for her school. She's also had the opportunity to provide her classroom for observations for beginning teachers and provided TIPS training for NC Pre-K Teachers.

Allison is honored to serve on the Board of B.H. Rowland Foundation as she was one of the first recipients for the Spring 2023 Awards.

During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and spontaneous road trips with her husband and daughter.
