Who We Are
The B. H. Rowland Foundation (BHRF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to recognizing and supporting the work of high-quality early childhood educators in North Carolina. The foundation exists to fulfill the following objectives:
• Benefit the community of early childhood educators in NC.
• Raise funds to support scholarships, grants, and awards for professionals in NC.
• Maintain close collaborations with other professional and non-profit organizations that support the early childhood education workforce in NC:
North Carolina Association for the Education of Young Children (NCAEYC)
North Carolina Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Association (NCIMHA).
• Maintain close collaboration with governmental and university-based organizations that support early childhood educators within NC, such as the Early Educator Support program.
• Benefit the community of early childhood educators in NC.
• Raise funds to support scholarships, grants, and awards for professionals in NC.
